Who Is The Remote Innovator
A remote innovator is a person who creates new ideas, products, processes, or strategies while working outside of a traditional co-located office environment.
This site was built for the people Googling “how do I work from home without losing the plot?”
If you’re freelancing in a corner of the kitchen, side-hustling between toddler naps, or trying to look engaged on Zoom while making toast – I see you.
The Remote Innovator is where you’ll find remote work tips that make your day less scattered, your setup less frustrating, and your head a bit clearer.
It’s not about squeezing more into your calendar.
It’s about figuring out what actually helps and ditching what doesn’t.

So What Is The Remote Innovator, Exactly?
It’s a blog.
It’s a resource hub.
It’s a quiet rebellion against rigid productivity culture.
You’ll find:
Honest advice about what makes remote work actually easier
Simple routines that don’t require a 4am wake-up
Gear tips that focus on comfort and clarity, not looking like a tech influencer
Mental bandwidth savers for people with actual responsibilities
And if you’re a business that needs clean, sharp, human copy, I still do that too.
Who’s Running This Thing?
I started this site after 10+ years of working fully remotely; not just solo, but leading teams, juggling deadlines, and figuring out how to make it all work without losing the plot.
I’ve led remote writing teams across time zones, written copy for SaaS, wellness, and marketing brands, and helped scale content that actually gets results.
I’ve built prompt libraries, trained people in AI tools, cleared backlogs, and streamlined editorial chaos with nothing but good docs, good people, and good systems.
And before that? I freelanced as a writer and virtual assistant for 8+ years, doing everything from launching client membership sites to handling content, social media, and copy for product launches and websites.
This site isn’t based on theory. It’s built from real deadlines, real burnout, and real “can everyone please stop slacking me” moments.

Need A Copywriter Who Understands Remote Teams?
I take on select freelance projects. If you want landing pages, blog content, emails, or digital copy that feels like an actual person wrote it (and converts) I might be your person.
